Dave Criswell
Shortly after graduating form Roy-Hart, I enlisted in the Army for three years. After being discharged, I settled back in the Lockport area and married a local girl, Leslie Porter. We raised two wonderful children, a son, Sean, and a daughter, Erica. We now have three grandchildren Abigail (7), Ethan (4), and Emmersin (2).
It is great to read your bios and see the way your lives have developed. Unfortunately, for many years after graduation my life was not anything that I am proud of. Years of very heavy drinking and carousing nearly caused me to lose my family. On April 1, 1981, with the help of one of our classmates, David Hayes, I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. I was delivered from the addictions of alcohol and nicotine. Just as importantly, my marriage was healed and Leslie and I began a new life free of the bondages that had created so much pain and hurt. I'm eternally thankful each day for the second chance that I have been given. We now live in Dalton, GA, just south of Chattanooga, TN. We both
work at the hospital here in Dalton and are involved in several local ministries. I like to play golf also but the word is out about how good Maines and Stoddard are so unless they give me a stroke a hole I'm not playing.
I look forward to seeing you all in July.
