I have retired from 33 years in education. My career included teaching special education for seven years at BOCES in Spencerport and the remaining years as a Special Education Administrator at BOCES and Rochester City School District. During my final years I administered a large special education program Edison Vocational and Technical High School in Rochester. I now work part-time at a small gift shop in Rochester leaving me plenty of time to pursue my interests of traveling, gardening and reading.
2010 Update: I continue to enjoy my retirement. I am no longer working part-time but enjoying traveling as much as I can. Since our 40th reunion I have traveled to Hawaii, Italy, Aruba, Cancun, and Peru! And that doesn’t include the locations within the United States… San Diego, Phoenix, Washington DC, Orlando, Las Vegas, and NYC. Not bad for 5 years! I have a timeshare which I exchange for the opportunity to experience new vacation sites. When I am home, I continue to enjoy working in my gardens and volunteering within the community.
2015 Update: My travels continue! I have been to Croatia, France, and a return to Italy. I am looking forward to a visit to the Greek Isles shortly after our 50th reunion.
