I was drafted into the US Army after high school. I married Sandra L. Donner (see bio
here) on September 28, 1968 and we have 2 children. Our daughter, Michelle, graduated with a Master’s Degree in Higher Education from U.B. and is married to Dr. Daniel Hook, who earned his PhD in chemistry in May 2004. They reside in Rochester. Our son, Eric, earned his BA from Brockport in Sports Management and currently works in Buffalo. The love of my life is our 2 grandchildren, Zachery, age 5, and Natalie, age 2.
I worked as a cost accountant for 22 years at Kohler Machine and Manufacturing, until a career move offered. I’m currently working for Kenyon Enterprises as Training Manager. I enjoy golf, especially with our son. I also directed youth programs for many years when I was on the board of the YMCA.
2010 Update:  We're looking forward to the 45th class reunion, since we couldn't make the 40th. Wow, it's been 5 years since we were in California for my nephew's wedding. Surprise, they're still together!
Ken has been dealing with health issues for over two years now, a sign that we're not getting any younger. He has a great neurologist, but even she's stumped as to why he has weakness and numbness in his legs. Last August, he had pneumonia and this past January was admitted to the hospital with heart problems. We deal with each day as it comes. Ken's goal is to return to playing golf again, maybe next season. Ken is semi-retired. He works part-time at a convenience store.
Our daughter, Michelle, works as a career counselor at St. John Fisher College in Rochester. Her husband Dan has his PhD and works at Bausch & Lomb.
Our son Eric got married August 1, 2008. We have a new grand-daughter, Ava Jean, born January 23, 2010. She is a peanut, and it's great because now we have three grandchildren, the other two are Zachery, 10, and Natalie, 7, (Michelle and Dan's children). Eric and Amy will be moving soon to Rochester. Eric got a job at Paychexs recently. Of course the kids would love us to retire and move to Rochester also. Who knows?
This past June we took a vacation, and visited my sister and her family in Bluffton, South Carolina. We took my 85-year-old mother to meet her newest great-grand-daughter, Sayda. A good time was had by all.
2015 Update: I am semi-retired; Sandy won't let me be totally retired. I work a few hours for Kenyon Enterprises as a technical consultant. I still love golf but due to health issues and limitations, I prefer to be a co-captain for a golf league. I enjoy attending the Porter Cup and Monroe invitational with friends each year.
Naturally whenever I can; I love spoiling our 4 grandchildren, We’re very blessed.
Looking forward to the 50th reunion and catching up with classmates that we have lost touch with over the years.
