In 1967, I married my high school sweetheart, Ron Preston (class of ’63), and we spent our first 3 years together in Anchorage, Alaska. Ron was in the Air Force there and I was working as a dental assistant. We had our first daughter, Meredith, in Anchorage in 1970. When we returned to the area, Ron’s career at Kodak brought us to the Rochester area where we have lived for the past 35 years. Our second daughter, Dawn, was born in 1975 and I was blessed to be able to be a stay-at-home mom for most of my daughter’s growing up years. I have worked for the past 15 years at Brockport High School with students with special needs. We have 3 grandchildren, Ryan (age 16), Chelsea (age 11), and our newest, little Eva (age 8 mos.).
I have been very blessed to have a wonderful husband and family. They are the delight of my life. Ron and I enjoy gardening, working out together at the “Y,” photography, grandchildren’s activities (concerts, basketball, baseball, etc.), traveling, and church activities.
